Sitting Too Much
Let’s face it, most of us spend way more time at our job in a seated position than we would like. At a recent conference I attended, Dr. Michael Frogley, DC, mentioned that sitting, even in great posture, puts the discs of the spine (think the cushioning between the bones) under more pressure than standing.
Off-Season Training for Skiing
With temperatures warming up and the snow melting in the high country, you may find yourself a little bummed. Don’t let the lack of snow get you down! Now is a great time to focus on your dry land training to prepare for next season. I recommend focusing on two areas to improve your body’s ability to withstand the physical stresses of skiing.
